Braidi Locke
Braidi Locke is the Boreal Educator for the Lesser Slave Forest Education Society as well as the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory. She studied environmental science at Lakeland College and after graduating knew that she wanted a career where she could work outside teaching about the natural world! In 2021 she created her own business, WildBoreal Environmental Educators to do just that. A few years later the Lesser Slave Forest Education Society and Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory hired Braidi to help deliver education programs in the Lesser Slave Lake region. Since then, Braidi has worked with these organizations to provide nature-based programming to hundreds of students, youth and adults by bringing them out into local natural areas to learn about plants, animals, ecology and so much more!
